This project scope encompassed the fabrication and supply of an additional ventilation duct, designed to complement the two existing ducts at a mining facility located in the Copperbelt Province of Zambia. The project required extensive fabrication works, including the precise design and construction of the new duct to meet the operational specifications of the site. In addition to the fabrication, the scope also involved comprehensive painting works to ensure the duct's durability and protection against environmental factors. The entire project aimed to enhance the mine’s ventilation system, contributing to improved airflow and safety standards at the facility.

The refurbishment of the 550KW ventilation fan involved a thorough overhaul to restore its efficiency and functionality. The project included a detailed inspection of the fan’s mechanical components, electrical systems, and structural integrity. Key tasks included the replacement of worn-out parts, cleaning and servicing of bearings and motors, as well as the reconditioning of the fan blades to ensure optimal performance. Electrical systems were tested and upgraded where necessary to meet current standards and improve energy efficiency. The fan’s housing and support structure were also inspected and repaired, ensuring that the entire system operates reliably and safely. Upon completion, the refurbished 550KW vent fan was reinstalled, ready to provide effective ventilation, contributing to enhanced operational safety and efficiency at the site.
